The Mothersí Union is a Christian organisation attached to the Anglican Church in approx. 78 countries. The branch in Elgin was started in 2001, and now has 36 members with another 22 spread around the Diocese.
We meet on the 3rd. Wednesday of each month, apart from August & September, at 2pm. in Holy Trinity Church Hall.
We try to invite a good variety of speakers on interesting topics, many of which are relevant to the Mothers' Union commitment to care for families worldwide.
We have an annual service in Inverness Cathedral, usually in September, we have quiet days and a day of fun & relaxation which allows us to meet with other members from across the Diocese.
We hold a coffee morning each September to raise funds to support the work of the Mothersí Union worldwide, for the branch & the Diocese.
Once a year, we have the chance to meet other members from across Scotland at the Provincial Retreat held at Kinnoul Abbey near Perth.
